Private Chef of Tampa takes on the catering menu, presentation and butler duties leaving you free to have fun hosting your private affairs, corporate events, weddings and family fetes.

    Your Private Chef of Tampa, Peter Gambacorta hails from Buffalo, NY and trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Catering good-for-you food beautifully presented became such a passion that he built a commercial kitchen in his home. Peter relocated to Tampa and began offering catering and private chef meals to nonprofit organizations he supports such as Rotary and the Krewe of Sant Yago. Today, Private Chef of Tampa caters culinary delights in our clients’ kitchens throughout west central Florida. Our staff of chefs and trained servers also use the commercial kitchens at TPepin Hospitality Centre for corporate events and weddings of 50 to 200. All our private chefs and servers are Serve Safe® trained.

    ​Chef Peter is as entertaining and informative as he is creative. He was invited to audition for “The Taste” on ABC. He also appeared with Iron Chef winner Beau MacMillan, executive chef at the Sanctuary, Camelback Mountain, AZ.

    Pina A. Freni, Sous Chef

    Originally from New York City, Pina moved to Tampa where she followed her passion for cooking. She attended the International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Tampa, and enjoys spending her time in a kitchen both professionally and personally. Raised in an Italian family, food has always been a big part of Pina’s life. The culinary skills she continues to develop have been influenced by the talented chefs with whom she has worked in small and large restaurants. Pina puts her heart and soul into everything she prepares because she’s inspired by the joy she brings people through her food.

    Sandra Lopez, Saucier

    Sandra was classically trained in culinary sauces in San Salvador and is our saucier. She has worked as saucier and expediter in Tampa for both caterers and restaurants. In addition to preparing sauces, the saucier prepares stews, hot hors d'œuvres, and sautés food to order. Sandra brings her a passion for culinary excellence to your private event or special day.

    Eric Buddy Thompson, Chef Assistant

    Eric graduated Wharton High School and is attending Brewster Technical Institute for Culinary Arts. Chef Buddy brings smiles and his special energetic personality to our team.
